Last night we walked with Romeo at sunset and our neighbor Mike was out having a smoke. "I hired Santa for 125 bucks to be with the kids for a few hours, I do it every year," he said "He's just a glorified babysitter. I can come out and have a break," he smiled.
This morning I woke at 4AM and got up. There was a man with a headlamp on inside the 1st of the 7 garages. It was my neighbor Sergio taking out the Christmas gift for his fiancee; a queen sized box spring and mattress.
The best gift has been good health for my dog walking pals of Edgewater Drive.
A Christmas Eve snowfall while swimming laps at the pool with the other swimmers.
A peaceful and clean neighborhood thanks to Anthony Gemma buying the property surrounding us.
Last night I made a holiday favorite food: semolina bread, hummus, (to eat with carrots and sun dried tomatoes) and Asian style garlic broccoli and Chef Michael Smith's slow baked salmon.
Transmit mode has just arrived after 12-15 weeks. I will try to take notes.
