Zuleika Hernandez

The visit to Hot Bread Kitchen was a homecoming of sorts. The bakery offers a paid job-skills training program, primarily for women with low incomes, and Ms. Hernandez graduated a year and a half ago.

The program helped her land a job at Restaurant Associates, which operates the Google employee cafeteria. More than a year in, her tenure is the longest she has ever had.
