February 14th

Romeo and I walked to the pond this morning. The wind across the ice felt painful but it was nice to breathe fresh air. Living on the pond in winter must be painful unless you have a woodstove. It's colder than the city because the pond is like a gigantic ice cube. I ate leftover Christmas peanut butter chocolates and iced coffee when I got home. I graduated art school 33 years ago today! Unfortunately the outdoor bread oven won't be ready until April. This has been the year of waiting.
