When Somebody Dies...

In my family of origin when somebody in the immediate family or close circle dies I do not get told. I can't wrap my mind around this. I always make a point to tell them when someone we know has died. It's the right thing to do. Not a condition. I am still hoping right actions might educate them on how to behave. We have had this scenario go round several times. So far no learning has happened.
