Cozy Perch

Last night we hung up the long bamboo shade on the front porch. We've had this shade for decades on an interior window but we decided to try hanging it outside to block the late afternoon sun. Immediately it became a compelling outdoor room. We moved two chairs and a small table on to the porch and sat and watched the neighborhood from our cozy perch.
