Baking Bread in a Heat Wave

I can't throw out my sourdough starter. Even in a heat wave I must bake a batch of sourdough bread. The good news is heat rises and my oven is on the first floor. The dry heat drives out the humidity.

I forgot how fast the dough rises on a 90 degree day. It over-proofed  and when I baked it, it overflowed landing on the oven coils, setting off the smoke alarm but it worked out and it is delicious sourdough bread.
