I was going to a wedding and I had invited two friends who didn't know the couple. In preparation my friend had pulled decorations off of her patented leather Mary-Jane's leaving holes in the tops of her shoes. I was worried.

I was in my friend Dan's loft and he turned on two kinds of recorded music at the same time to play while he was gone. A bunch of paper characters became animated including a miniature doll house-sized paper dog that was jumping on a paper person behaving like a real dog. How in the world did he do that?
