Leftovers

I never understand people who say they don't eat leftovers. That would be like saying I don't wear clothing after it's washed. Everything is better the next day like clothing after you wash it.

For breakfast I had a sourdough waffle from last weeks batch defrosted in the toaster. An hour later I was still hungry so I had leftover pulled pork that I shaped into a nest in my cast iron skillet and then I cracked an egg into the center and fried it up. Fabulous.

My latest thoughts are that truly good food never needs to be about quantity. Homemade pasta, home cooked anything. Quality is fulfilling. This is why home cooks in other countries are rarely obese. Think about that.
