Magic Mouthwash

I forgot why I can't eat sugar. I got painful mouth sores. I had some leftover magic mouthwash and that helped stop the pain overnight.

Magic mouthwash is a medicated mix in liquid form. It’s a common treatment for a sore mouth. You may get mouth sores or blisters because of cancer treatments or an infection. This condition is called oral (mouth) mucositis.

• viscous lidocaine 2 percent
• diphenhydramine
• aluminum hydroxide, Maalox, or Mylanta
