Last night was my first trip to Taunton taking Bill's method which is driving country roads up to Franklin to catch 495 then 24. It's much nicer than the ALL HIGHWAY route. But wow! High stress driving on the highway! MONSTER TRUCKS bearing down on my little HONDA.
I made sourdough pizza last night using my 12" cast iron skillet as
a baking stone and using sourdough starter discard and semolina and
bread flour olive oil and herbs. It incubated for a few days and then I
made the best pizza! I even drank jug Chianti in what we call the dogs "pee jar" smallest canning jar, to CALM DOWN. LOL
I am enjoying driving!! And ROMEO is
an excellent co-pilot. Zippy drives to the Woonsocket YMCA pool are fun because I can wear my suit under my swim dress and jump right in!
Also, I can drive to "Little Ireland" to walk ROMEO and see the
sunrise over the city. I call it little Ireland because it's a hill of
stone huts and stones near the Pothier Monument down the street in
Precious Blood Cemetery.
One of these days the car will needs good dusting and vacuuming and wiping of dog nose prints off the windows. But for today we need to start with getting gas!
