Finally, a Nor'Easter is Coming!

Most Rhode Islanders rush out to buy milk and bread when the forecast is a big snowstorm. I look to see school closings and plan on what to bake. I love a good snowstorm and I love to shovel and I know this sets me apart. I have fantasies of having an ice picnic in the snow at my picnic table since the summers and Spring and Fall are too hot for such things. We used to make snow ice cream when we visited New England as kids. We'd add cream and frozen berries. Eggnog works too.

When a really good storm hits all of the roads become quiet white carpets. That's when I love to go out and walk with my dog to a friend's house just for the thrill of it.
