Normally I avoid fried foods due to heartburn but I am craving this. I must try it. I have never made fried chicken.

I cut the gorgeous colards into ribbons after rinsing them. I placed them in the instant pot with a little water, wine, soysauce garlic and olive oil. I set it to zero and let it release pressure naturally.
Then I cubed washed yams and put them in the instant pot taking out the greens but leaving the and using the remaining greens liquid. Fabulous! I set it to 2 minutes and let it sit for longer. to decompress.
As far as the fried chicken I liked the crispy bits more than the chicken and yes I got heartburn. It was fun. Now seltzer and tea and asthma meds. We're fine the collards and sweet potatoes were amazing.
Next I want to make cranberry orange biscotti again.
