Everybody likes to be Seen

This morning while walking my dog, I waved and smiled at the garbage truck coming down my street. The driver tooted the horn. The guy hanging on the back smiled and I said happy New Year! I do the same with the police cars and fire trucks. Yes, I am silly but it feels good. Everybody likes to be seen. I thank the Brazilian cleaning woman at the YMCA for keeping the place sparkling. Now whenever I see her she waves and smiles. I don't speak English, she says. That's okay. You make everything beautiful!
