The holidays are exhausting. Are we having fun? What are we eating? Today I am relieved it's just a day. It's a blessing to be back in the routine. We need a vacation from the holidays and that means going back to work. The big magnifying glass hovering over the days has finally retreated. My long lost relatives will retreat into their proper place in my psyche along with the strangers on my street.
