Leftovers Transformed

Each night this week my napa cabbage mushroom corn onion and rice leftovers have morphed into a new meal. Last night I added eggs, the night before I added almonds and tonight I added pork, celery, carrots and prunes. I deglazed the pan with red wine and potato stock. I added Adobo and rooster sauce and it was amazing.
Laurie has worked at the butcher shop for 19 years. The new owners they're brothers, are teaching her Spanish. I am so proud of her. "Do you know where I can get 10 cases of RITZ CRACKER crumbs? Our supplier is out of them, and I need them."
Call Ritz! Or I will! I said, smiling.
