Candied Orange Peel My Way

I am not a friend of sugar but I can't resist saving my orange peels for eating so after reading recipes for candied orange peel I did it my way. I boiled the peels in the crock pot for 25-30 minutes while had a shower. Then I rinsed and drained them 2x in cold water and rolled them in sugar. Perfect.
