Neighborhood Auto Part Theft

We believe our catalytic converter was stolen out from under our  2011 Honda while parked here in our driveway & shared parking lot. I just texted Anthony Gemma the owner of the parking lot.

Bill is renting a car this week while our beloved mechanic Sam will take a look and start plans to replace it. I presume there's a formal protocol for Sam to make a report and we give it to WPD.

 

At the rental they asked us if we owned a KIA SOUL since those get stolen often.

 

We also believe it was more than one visit because a couple things happened over the course of the week.

 

First a loose fender/damaged rear fairing and then a missing tailpipe. THEN we realized what was happening.

 

We do have a professional thief as a next door neighbor. I hate to think it was HIM.
