Yesterday I brought a big bag of props to school; hats sunglasses gloves, balls, toy dog, oversized paintbrush, and plates and bowls and mugs to my english language class. I moved the chairs to 4 rows facing the front of the class to make a theater. We did IMPROV.
I told them about stage picture so the audience can see what's going on.
It was amazing and fun. Most of us laughed ourselves out of character.
The more I teach swimming the more I realize I am teaching BREATHING. It's the breathing not the swimming that causes the ZEN.
I just felt compelled to share this with you. Perhaps with YOGA-- it too is more about the breathing. Breathing is the mind clearing stress reduction.
