The Hockomock Area YMCA is hiring a full-time Aquatics Director for its Foxboro Invensys Branch in Foxborough, Massachusetts.  

Role Overview

Position: Aquatics Director
Location: Foxboro Invensys Branch (Foxborough, MA)
Estimated Salary: Approximately $42,000 to $60,000 per year (depending on experience)
Employment Type: Full-time [1, 2]

Responsibilities

Facility Management: Oversee the branch's indoor pool, outdoor pool, hot tub, and splash pad, including pool operations, water chemistry, filtration systems, and safety protocols. [1]
Team Leadership: Hire, train, supervise, and schedule lifeguards and swim instructors. [1]
Program Development: Lead swim lessons, community-focused aquatics programs, and safety training. [1]
Budget & Compliance: Manage the annual aquatics budget, monitor monthly financials, and ensure all YMCA safety standards are met or exceeded. [1]

Key Qualifications

Experience: Prior background in aquatics management, lifeguarding, or swim instruction (typically 3–5 years preferred).
Certifications: Current certifications in YMCA Lifeguard, YMCA Swim Instructor, First Aid, CPR, and CPO/AFO (Certified Pool Operator) preferred.
Skills: Strong communication, staff supervision, and organizational abilities. [1]
