IDEA: A Library Joined with Animal Rescue

Wouldn't it be great if the animal rescue league was conjoined with the children's library at least part of the time? Reading to dogs has proven to help both the dog and the reader. Learning to train dogs could be an after school Eagle Scout project. Perhaps it would need to happen at the pound and not at the library because if the dogs bark it would disturb readers.
