Season of Worry

October is a big mood transition month. We are collectively spiraling DOWN into the darker, and colder and more internal receive-mode months.

Now the shadows cover the street until ten AM unless I walk east to west.

The neighborhood swimming pool is sunny and warm, and so is the bath tub.

I have a bucket of bread dough rising I plan to bake while the boiler man is tuning up the boiler. The oily boiler smell will be counterbalanced by bread baking.

Yesterday both Lily and I had to take buffered aspirin for sore muscles. We are ageing together. I can't imagine facing life without her.

This is the season of worry.
