Keep the Faith

In celebration of new progress for the shared communal parking lot we swept and cleaned the parking lot.(we have an easement but do not own it. There was plenty of broken glass and garbage to be disposed of. There was a battery and there's still a car fender left on Biernacki's old fenced in pile of rocks.
We are very excited about the progress being made. I have lived here in my own home for 22 years. We are making REAL PROGRESS.

Sylvia was told that a new muffler was 2,000. I suggested my mechanic take a look. No muffler was needed Just an exhaust pipe and he fixed her AC for free and washed and vacuumed the car. All for 500 dollars. He picked her up and brought her home. She hugged him!

Sometimes it's about networking or mingling when at the thrift store or walking Lily,...to find the good word about mechanics, doctors, veterinarians... But it involves the RISK of getting to know the towns people and neighbors.

Sometimes we end up with very bad news. We have discovered Woonsocket has a mostly horrible city council except for 2 out of seven but luckily we have a great Mayor, great Police Chief and great Public Safety Director and great zoning and housing...and City Planner, and more.

I never talk to anyone when I am angry....ONLY when I am calm and centered. Then things get done.

Keep looking! There are GOOD PEOPLE out there. I had to wait 22 years...to get good neighbors. Now I am fighting with all my might to KEEP THEM! That's another story....
