Woonsocket is a City with Trees

The wood chips placed around the base of the Clinton and Social Street and East School Street trees have caused diseases that have been killing them. The wood chips carried termites. I hope we plant new trees and try new methods that may help the trees survive. Our Social Flat Lands district has a natural green-way from the line of chalk maples. These are our trademark Autumnfest maples! Let's replant a fast growing strong city tree and care for them properly.
