Eyes and Gut

Last night we drove 45 minutes to look at a used car. The first thing I noticed is was broken plastic at the console. "I'll fix that," the dealer said. My skepticism jumped in. Don't believe him. If he hasn't fixed it in 4 months he has no plans to. And what about the airbag recall for this model. "No problem, I will call the dealer. It's most likely nothing to worry about." On my way home I said to my husband. "Let's keep looking. The best time to look for a job is when you have one and the best time to look for a used car is when you have one. You will know it when you see it."
