A Gang of Happy Dogs

Last night we were walking in the north end and three happy loose dogs came running toward us. One was tiny and two were large. The crone of the neighborhood was out in the street with us. She said I think they live there in the corner house. He fosters dogs. I ran ahead and one of the big dogs scrambled back  through a gap in the back gate. I rang the front doorbell. A young kind man with sleepy eyes came out. I explained the situation. He began calling to the dogs and ran down the street. I tried to flag down the people driving to warn them that some dogs were loose. It all worked out and no dogs or people got hurt and we may have even made a new friend.
