A Swim!

I bicycled over to see a fellow swimmer. We jumped in the ice cold river. After a few minutes it didn't feel cold anymore. We tread water for a while. A shirtless guy came by with his two loose dogs. He was holding a beer. We were too shy to get out of the water while he was sitting there. He told stories about his dogs and the houses on the street and then he left. I loved the shock of the cold water, my skin felt minty and the water gave me energy. It made my day to swim. I could swim every day.
