Fear Response

Did your neighborhood set off firecrackers all night? We had them out front, out back and the side. It was hell for my dog, and introvert self. Ironically all of our new neighbors are LOUD. I've noticed on my walks in Blackstone in the suburbs, the new neighbors tend to be the loud ones. Bill says it's their fear response, people in a new environment wanting to fill the space.

Closing the windows and turning on box fans works wonders for calming my dog and myself.
