Temperature

We sometimes feel strange temperature and humidity differentials on our walks. Last week walking north we stepped one block east and the air was still so we turned back to moving air and headed west. Sometimes in winter when it's damp and windy we'll avoid walking along the pond. On summer days the pond can be too humid and swampy to walk near. It's fascinating. At home on a hot day we'll have our upstairs windows open for cross ventilation. The downstairs windows are closed trapping the cooler air. This works to keep us cool. Thermal curtains also work their insulating magic in both summer and winter weather.
