Ice Cold Water

We drove to the river today and I jumped in. It was so cold. My guess is the water was 50 degrees. The sun was out and the wind was blowing. I swam around for a minute and then jumped back out and toweled off and then we drove home. It still felt good to swim even for a brief moment. When we arrived back home I put on warm dry clothes and made a cup of hot tea.
