First day of using the clothesline for the season!

I take great joy in using my clothesline. I have been fascinated with them since I was a child growing up in suburbia where they were frowned upon if not forbidden and hidden. 

Now I have one and I love the squeak. 

It is hidden off the street in the back of the house but it is also in the sun. 

I also love sturdy well-made wooden clothespins. In my opinion he clothespin is the greatest invention, right up there with the pressure cooker. I'm perfectly happy to skip over the invention of the automobile and airplane and claim the clothespin and pressure cooker are more important.
