The Clothesline

She pinned the teal tea towel on the clothesline and wheeled it to the end. The squeak will wake everyone up! She worried.  It was 5 am and just brightening out. He should see it, she thought. This was her signal to her boyfriend to come around the side of the house and climb the fire escape. She had three colors; teal, yellow and red. Each color had a meaning.
