Gut Feeling

When I need to make a decision on something my my gut is the meter. My gut has a response when I am writing, painting, meeting new people, you name it.

I was in a big box store recently looking for light bulbs when I spotted back yard picnic table umbrellas on sale. I sat down and stared at the colors of the bargain item and got queasy. Too busy, I can't live with this design, I told myself.

The former middle school in our city is for sale. I drove down the street and realized it was a claustrophobic design. That's why the city can't sell it. The building choked off by an annoying cul de sac.

Scientist are discovering the gut is another brain, with a mind of it's own. I agree.
