Nancy’s responsibilities at LISC’s Community Safety Initiative (CSI) include providing technical assistance to Byrne Criminal Justice Innovation (BCJI) Program sites. Nancy is based in LISC's Providence, Rhode Island office where she also leads the local building sustainable communities program. Prior to joining LISC, Nancy worked with the Saint Paul Police Department doing community outreach and violence prevention and is the former Director of Community Relations for Hamline University. Nancy holds a Master of Social Work in community organizing from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning and Sociology from Sacred Heart University. She is an adjunct faculty member at Roger Williams University in the School of Continuing Studies. Nancy was the recipient of LISC's Presidents Award in 2014
