This morning I got up and walked to the pool and began swimming early. My husband stayed home with our dog, Romeo reading and relaxing. I got into the zone and swam more than my regular amount. I did a lot of thinking about using receive-mode to swim early in the morning. Morning is painful in receive-mode but employing that energy is a great way to focus make good use of it. Anxiety is a symptom of receive-mode but the water melts away anxiety.
Water is a mood stabilizer so even in transmit mode the swim grounds me and centers me. The breathing and rhythmic rocking in the water is therapeutic like no other activity.
