Dwayne Johnson

When he was 15 years old, his parents went through a really rough patch and had been fighting as they relocated across the country. As Johnson drove his mother's car behind his parents, he could see their car swerving down the major interstate, when his father abruptly pulled over on the shoulder. His mother got out and "had a glazed look over her eyes" — then the unthinkable happened. "She walks right into the middle of I-65, and continues to walk down into oncoming traffic," Johnson recalled. "My heart stopped… I grabbed her and wrestled her over to the side of the road. I don't remember what I said to her. I remember she didn't say a thing."

He the incident taught him to understand how precious life is and how easily it can be taken.
