"My husband is poisoning them," she said. "They're everywhere. Mice too, but I have two cats."

She continued. "Stabbings, shootings, I don't want to live here anymore. We're going to move out of the city."

"She always says that," my husband quipped, while reading his paper. "She has said that since the day they moved in."
