Pinky

I stubbed my pinky toe yesterday stepping around the box fan. So dumb! I have done it before and had it be much worse. Iced it with  a bag of frozen spinach and frozen corn, (as if the content matters) and I took two ibuprofen.

Today my toe looks like he lost a bar fight! He. I'm not sure why but my pinky toe is definitely a boy. Maybe my feet are boys. They are good sturdy feet.

Limping along with my dog Romeo this morning I felt like I was a hundred years old. We had a wimp-walk. It breaks my heart to have to cut the walk short on such a perfect day. I will try again later.

Last time I injured my foot I went flying over a curb while walking my dog. I was people-watching (versus curb-watching). And I was wearing clogs. After that injury I took ibuprofen and walked Romeo three miles. Equally dumb. Then it took six months to heal.

Maybe it'll be okay. Walking is how I think and do things...library, chores, you name it. Maybe it'll be okay to walk 1/2 mile to the library pumped up on ibuprofen. It's just a pinky. Right?
