Thank You Woonsocket Fire Department!

Last night at 1:01 AM we were awakened by the smell of smoke but it was a particularly bad smelling smoke that had the odors of burning plastic and wood. My husband ran all around the house and poked his head out of the the windows trying to determine where it was coming from. I phoned the fire department and told the dispatcher our concerns. The firetruck arrived quietly and the firemen got out and discovered a backyard bonfire made of household items and yard sale leftovers and they extinguished it. My lungs and throat still burned but after a while I was able to fall back to sleep. Thank you Woonsocket fire department!
