Whole wheat sourdough starter, sesame tahini, lowfat buttermilk, 2 beaten eggs, kosher salt, baking soda.
My sourdough starter is a thick blob so all I needed was buttermilk and eggs to make a batter. Sesame tahini was my nutritious version of oil. Use yogurt if you don't have buttermilk.
Don't forget half teaspoon of baking soda to neutralize and a few dashes of kosher salt. No need for added sweetness.
These are light as a feather!
