Grilled Bananas

My favorite childhood memory is when my step-father Tony would make Saturday morning pancakes for my sister and brother. He poured them in the shape of animals and he also grilled long slices of bananas. Sadly, my mother got jealous and shut down the operation.

Saturday we had six overripe bananas and I sliced them and grilled them on my grill pan. They were sweeter than candy! I had them with Greek yogurt and on toast. It was an impromptu banana cream pie!
