Elbow Street Table
On my walk this morning I spotted a round wooden table in mint condition. I made a mental note to turn back and figure out way to carry it home. Lily wanted a normal walk but on the way home I checked and the table was still there. I ran into Mark Shultz at the intersection and told him about my find and he told me his truck was in the shop but he'd gladly loan me his heavy duty hand truck. I wheeled it over to the site and noticed the wooden table leaf. I brought it all home balancing it on the hand truck wheeling it a few blocks and then and up the three cement stairs. My 3rd floor neighbor saw me struggling and shouted down "Do you need help!" I said "Thanks, but I am okay." I set up the table in my yard near the other three (yes!) and covered it with a blue tarp. My husband will laugh at me but let's face it, I can never have too many tables and chairs especially one with a story like this.
