Romeo Love

I am enjoying training Romeo. He has learned his new name and has mastered SIT and DOWN and we will work on STAY and COME next week.

Whenever a sudden loud noise happens he tucks his tail and scoots. God knows what his childhood was about but at least they vaccinated him and fed him and exercised him. He was never indoors and he was not house-trained but he is the best canine student ever.

I watch families in the neighborhood scream paragraphs at their dogs and use choke collars. The poor animals crap in the stairwell. They are so terrorized, just like the kids are.

The suburbanites are terrified too and they take it to another level and use shock collars. What the hell are they thinking?

Fear motivates all violence. We are in a violent society.
