Found

Romeo found a tennis ball on our walk down Chester Street yesterday. I let him keep it and when we arrived home he played with it in the yard. I was inside preparing for a picnic lunch in the backyard. When I went out and he came inside. I set the table for 2 friends. When I came back in there were streaks of brown on the carpet in the living room. I laughed. They were the trails of the muddy ball. I filled a bucket with warm soapy water and got down on my hands and knees and scrubbed the spots with a scrub brush hoping to clean it up before my friends arrived.
