Vanessa Stephen is an ecologist with a camera. She knows her animals and their environments. She's travelled widely, stayed in highly uncomfortable places and been out with her camera in all weathers, whether it be a blizzard in Antarctica or sweltering heat in Botswana's Makgadikgadi Pans. She relishes wilderness and is constantly striving to tell a story in one brief moment of time.
