Death Wish

He's had a death wish for all the 36 years that I've known him but now it's really showing. I guess these things don't age well. The compound tragedy is nobody else seems to notice the elephant in the room. 

The childhood family roles and parental battles don't hold up over time especially when they don't get unpacked and re-examined.
