turkey sweet potato cranberries onion kale celery
- 1 to 2 pound ground turkey or beef and pork blend
- 1 large russet (or sweet) potato (peeled and cut into chunks)
- 3 stalks celery (or kale)
- 1 medium onion (peeled and finely chopped)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- dried cranberries for color and sweet tart
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 cup water
- 5 cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon powdered cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 1 double crust home made corn oil crust
- 1 beaten egg for glaze
- salt and pepper
