When the Recycle Bug Bites

© Lawrence Scahill, 2022

I ran into Jeremiah in the wilderness, this is what he said. I think he was kidding.
LS

When the recycle bug bites you, you may never be the same.
Forget about how, forget about blame.
Because
When that little biddy bug bites in the middle of the night,
It’s gonna be different come morning light.
So
Flatten cardboard, crush tin cans, recycle and restore.
Let warm winds push old habits out the door.
Because
Dear friends the news is out, this biddy bug is all over town
What goes around, bet a buck will come around
So
When the recycle bug bites you, might as well change your name.
From now on, nothing’s gonna be the same.
