Tonight I made whole wheat, cornmeal, rye, olive oil, sesame seeds, herbs, sourdough crackers. They were good! The thin ones at the edge came out the best. I used a rolling pin. Then I defrosted hummus and some home made vegetable turkey soup and with Asiago it was supper.
Somewhere between the cheddar crackers and the whole grain ones will be the perfect cracker but I'd have to keep experimenting. If I used a lighter flour the herbs and garlic taste would show up more. I
love olive oil and garlic sesame with the rye. I might not stay interested
but I love the idea of a good cracker with my home made hummus.
