Washing off the Dust
We met a lady who told us a story when we were walking Romeo this morning. Her mother
bought porcelain Hummel figurines (tchotchkes) as collectibles when the
lady was a child. She and her sisters would play with the fragile
figurines and they would break, of course. The sisters would then glue
them back together with Elmer's glue so their mother wouldn't notice.
One day the mother decided to wash the dust off the figurines by
lowering them into a sink of soapy water, and arms and legs started
coming off!
