A Nest

I found a baby birds nest on the sidewalk on my walk tonight. I picked it up and held it cupped in my left hand and continued to walk. I was hoping to run into my favorite kids so I could give it to them. Nobody was out so I brought the nest inside and placed it in my onion basket.
